HandsOn NEGA’s YOUthServe Leadership Project (YLP) is launching on September 8, 2012 in partnership with Athens-Clarke County Probation and Municipal Court. It is a restorative justice community service-learning opportunity for young adult offenders coming through Municipal Court. The participants will be selected by the judge and will participate in the program for four months, engaging in service projects, issue area education and career readiness workshops, as well as ultimately planning a service project for their own peers. We are excited to see them making a positive impact on our community!
