YOUthServe is about YOU and YOUr community.
Community Connection and HandsOn Northeast Georgia, working with the juvenile court and municipal court officers and judges of Athens-Clarke County, are launching an innovative, new restorative justice community service program designed to re-connect youth with our community while also teaching them valuable life skills and enabling them to give back to their community.
How to get involved:
Days of Service: Open to all middle and high school students. Join together with your friends and change something.
The program meets on Saturdays from 9am to 12pm. Trained adult facilitators accompany a group of YOUth on a community service project at locations around Athens. Please arrive at the site at 8:45. If YOUth successfully participate in the session, they will receive credit for three hours of community service.
Youth Permission Forms (if under the age of 18, you must bring this form to participate).
