WHAT IS IT?
SingleServe is a community service group through HandsOn Northeast Georgia that facilitates monthly service projects for singles to volunteer for nonprofits. Rather than committing to a single cause, SingleServe will reach out to a myriad of charitable groups and give participants the chance to experience a variety of area community service organizations.
GOAL
We will facilitate a monthly service project for an area nonprofit through the Community Connection network of agencies. We will serve a variety of causes, do all kinds of projects, get to know one another, and make a difference.
WHY SHOULD I JOIN?
If you care about your community, and you want to make it a better place to live and work. If you think getting “involved” and “committing” to a service organization is a little intimidating. If you’re looking for a way to connect to other singles, to make friends and to have a good time. If you think the every contribution someone makes can make a difference. If you feel like it’s a challenge to decide which cause to devote your time and energy to, and maybe you don’t even know where to start.
