Family Serve is about families working together to build a better community.
At HandsOn Northeast Georgia we believe that community members of all ages are vital to our community. For this reason, HandsOn Northeast Georgia has created a program to bring families together in community service and learning.
There are two ways to get involved:
1) Become a Service Centered Family:
- Participate in a HandsOn NEGA sponsored FamilyServe volunteer event. Next event is May 6th, 2012 from 12pm – 2pm. Register today!
- Sign up for our volunteer opportunities ages 5 and up (listed below).
- Spend quality time with your family working in the community
- Establish a long term service learn plan for your family with your favorite community organization
- Participate in our Global Youth Service Day
2) Be a Family Sponsor to other Families:
- Recruit other families for volunteer opportunities
- Spend time with friends and neighbors while working in the community
